There is a lot of misinformation out there and we want to set the record straight. Nevadans have had vote by mail processes for a long time . Our elections are safe and secure.  Even so, you should still make it a priority to get your ballot in as early as possible to avoid an influx of ballots on election day itself.  Your ballots are tabulated at a counting center by a bipartisan counting board in each county. The process is open to the public and you can observe them if you are interested. ​

Most voters will receive a ballot automatically this year. To ensure that you will receive a ballot, check that your mailing address is correct, confirm that you are an ‘active voter’ and re-register if necessary by October 15.  If you are 17 years old and turn 18 by Election Day, you can register too!
