Join us as we watch the Governor's 2010 State of the State Address and the Democratic Response given by Nevada Senate Majority Leader Steven Horsford at his district office located at:

Time: 5:30-7:30pm

This watch party and volunteer kick off is an opportunity for you to offer ideas on ways to solve the current fiscal budget challenges and organize for how we can turn things around to create a better Nevada for all of us.

In addition to the watch party, we will be signing up volunteers to help us in the coming weeks and months as we all work to shift from shared sacrifice to shared success in Nevada. hmmm, Mr. Horsford has already made his position clear in terms of cutting funding for higher education. He seems to be all on board with the governor's plan to gut higher education in this state. Given this, if he's "afraid" to raise revenused in fear of not being re-elected, then I'm "afraid" I can no longer support him and he's going to lose ANYWAY.

NV needs to balance the budget without attaching the industries which support the state.
