NDOT Multi-Project Information Fair |
|
Projects Discussed in Fair: 1) F Street Connection-the reopening of F Street under I-15. 2) I-515 Project-improving interstate and commuter travel as well as improving bicycle and pedestrian upgrades and beautification. 3) Project Neon-traffic improvements, corridor beautification, enhanced safety by addressing congestion-related incidents encompassing the busy stretch of I-15 between Sahara Ave to the Spaghetti Bowl.
When and Where: Saturday, June 26, 2010, 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. at the Doolittle Community Center, Rooms A, B, and C, 1950 N. J Street, Las Vegas, NV, 89106.
Presentations and Who Will Be Involved: Identical presentations will be provided during the fair at the following times: 10:30 a.m., 12 noon, and 1:30 p.m. NDOT Director Susan Martinovich will lead general presentations, while NDOT, City of Las Vegas, consultant project managers, outreach staff and right-of-way professionals will answer specific questions. Additional stations will include Transit, Environmental/Civil Rights, Landscape & Aesthetics, and Property Acquisitions.

Environmental Compliance (NEPA) Initial Public Meeting |
|
Purpose of Meeting: The Nevada Department of Transportation, in the cooperation with the City of Las Vegas and The Federal Highway Administration, is conducting a public information meeting to provide information and receive comments on reopening F Street under I-15 near downtown Las Vegas, Nevada.
In compliance with the National Environmental Policy Act of 1969, NDOT is initiating a review of the proposed project's potential environmental impacts. This notice is to inform the public of the review and to solicit comments concerning the project.
When and Where: Wednesday, June 9, 2010, 4 p.m. - 7 p.m. at the Doolittle Community Center, Rooms A and B, 1950 N. J Street, Las Vegas, NV, 89106.
Why: The purpose and of the project is to reopen F Street under I-15 in order to reestablish and facilitate access between West Las Vegas and downtown las Vegas.
Where You Come In: You are invited to attend the public meeting between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. There will be a brief project presentation at 5:30 p.m. followed by a short comment period. Before and after the presentation at 5:30 p.m., the meeting will be conducted in an "open house" format to provide you with an opportunity to view the displays and individually discuss the project with project representatives.
